Christmas weddings can be utterly magical, especially if you can match your theme to the weather and landscape. Think burnt oranges in late autumn, icy blues in the frosty New Year and, of course, berry reds and burgundy for extra wintry romance at Christmas.

With eight different event suites, there's plenty of choice whether you're looking to invite immediate family and friends or a few more. If our packages don't seem quite right for you, we will happily create a bespoke package to make your wedding both individual and unforgettable.
Want to serve mulled wine or cider for the drinks reception after your ceremony? Or set up a hot chocolate station? Your guests can personalise a cup of cocoa with whipped cream, marshmallows, chopped nuts or even a shot of liqueur for the adults.
Alongside traditional turkey for the wedding breakfast, don't forget breakfast; you could continue this into your evening reception buffet. Think themed sandwiches and savouries or a turkey curry. Perhaps with a mince pie tower or candy canes for a sweet treat.
We know that catering at your wedding is important. All of our food is homemade on-site by our talented chefs, using some of the finest local produce and ingredients. Children are more than welcome to join your celebration, and we have lots of options for younger guests. As our food is homemade in-house, we can assist anyone with a special diet or allergies and intolerances. Including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.
Our Cardiff hotel has 197 bedrooms to choose from which are suitable for families, couples, groups or wedding guests. In fact, they all sleep up to four guests. All bedrooms are finished with authentic Canadian furniture, a nod to our heritage, soft furnishings and a bath or shower room.
Perks include free parking and electric car charging, free Wi-Fi and a complimentary robe and slippers in your room, plus home away from home services like our guest laundry room and ice-buckets and our ice machine, which you can help yourself to. There is also free entry to Simply Gym, situated at the Red Dragon Centre across from the hotel.

Download Our Wedding BrochureJust over a mile from Cardiff City Centre and within walking distance of plentiful nearby attractions and local events, Future Inn Cardiff boasts easy access to the A4232 and M4 in South Wales. The wedding venue is just a 5-minute walk from Cardiff Bay Train Station, and buses stop on the opposite side of the road at Cardiff County Hall. Making our venues suitably accessible for guests travelling to attend your big day.
All guests at Future Inns and Thomas Restaurant get free parking. We ask that car registration details are input on one of the consoles in the restaurant or hotel reception upon arrival. This is to avoid being sent a parking penalty notice. Have an electric car? Take advantage of our electric car charging.
The open-plan wedding suites are found on the ground floor, so no ramps or alternative routes are needed. Free parking and blue badge parking can be found directly in front of the entrance to the hotel and restaurant. There is a disabled toilet in the events corridor next to the other bathrooms. Standard booking terms and conditions apply. All wedding dates are subject to availability. A deposit and a signed contract are required at the time of booking to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments and is required to be paid in full four weeks before the event. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-amendable.
